1. About Lagos View Apartment

Comfortable two bedroom apartment, overlooking Lagos and the bay. We pride ourselves all enlarged photos that are taken ourselves on our travels around the globe. Comfort is key here at LagosView Apartment.

200m outside the old city wall with ample free street parking, FOUR parking lots, within 300m.

Grocery store, fresh produce market and pharmacy around the corner (240m).

Please note: The apartment is located on the second floor, without an elevator. No children under 8 can be accommodated.

2. The space

Recently renovated, comfortable two bedroom apartment overlooking Lagos. 

Two bedrooms (1 with double bed, the 2nd with two single beds), bathroom with walk-in summer rain shower, lounge with TV and FAST fibre internet, and a kitchen to make every stay complete.

Feast your eyes on the view from the rooftop viewing terrace.  

Situated only 200m outside the old city wall makes access to all the beaches, restaurants, and popular tourist areas an easy stroll. 

Lots of free street parking, and parking lots within a radius of 300m. 

Grocery store, fresh produce market and pharmacy around the corner (240m).

There is so much to explore from here … best is you can do it all on foot so no stress looking for parking downtown or at the closer beaches.

Please note: The apartment is located on the second floor, without an escalator, and no children under 8 can be accommodated.

2a. Lagos View Apartment Bedrooms

The Lagos View Apartment bedrooms have air conditioning and comfortable beds that provides a cozy and relaxing space for rest and sleep.

The double bedrooms features a double bed (1,4m x 2m) and the tween bedroom has two single beads (0,9m X 2m), which is designed to accommodate two people each room. The beds provides ample space for a comfortable sleep. You will find a mattress, with a mattress topper (only available in summer), pillows, and bedding for added comfort.

The bedrooms are equipped with an air conditioning system. These devises regulate the temperature and humidity of the room, creating a pleasant and cool environment.

2b. Lagos View Apartment Kitchen

Lagos View Apartment Kitchen includes appliances such as a Smeg stove, oven, refrigerator washing machine and tumble dryer. You will also finde a Blanco sink for washing dishes and food preparation.

Other appliances such as a microwave, blenders, toasters, and capsule coffee machine are also available.

You will finde plenty storage space. The cabinets are installed above and below countertops. Our stone countertops provide a durable and easy-to-clean workspace.

The kitchen has adequate natural and artificial lighting (such as ceiling lights and  under-cabinet lights) to ensure visibility. Ventilation systems, are available to help removing cooking odors, smoke, and excess heat from the kitchen.

For your safety Kitchen is equipped with smoke detector and the water heater has a legionella control system.

2c. Lounge

Lagos View Apartment lounge is designed for relaxation, entertainment, and socializing. It is a space where our guests gather to unwind, engage in conversations, or enjoy various activities. 

Lagos View Apartment lounge features comfortable seating arrangements such as sofa, and armchair. The furniture is arranged to create a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with a focus on providing ample seating for everyone. Coffee table and side table, are included to provide convenient surfaces for placing your belongings.

The lounge includes 55inch smart television, with more than 150 television channels and fast internet (500mb upload, 200 mb download). You can also use the lounge to have your meal with your friends and family. The table seats four people and has plenty of space to work or eat.

2d. Dedicated working space

Lagos View Apartment provides a dedicated working space equipped with the necessary technology and connectivity options. This includes access to power outlets for charging devices, a stable wireless internet connection (A cable can be supplied upon request – available from April to November) and a computer screen (supplied upon request – available from April to November).

The desk provides ample surface area for a laptop, or other work-related equipment and a cable management system. The desk allows proper ergonomics, and has comfortable chair that supports good posture.

Natural light from the window provides you with the ideal lighting, and for the night you with have a desk lamp.

O computer monitor can be provided upon request (only available between April and October)

3. Guest access

Guests have the whole apartment for their use. When it is available, the balcony in front of my office/our guest room on the top floor (with AMAZING view) is also available and for exclusive use.

4. Other things to note

Amenities provided free of charge to make your stay more comfortable (and to ensure your travel luggage is lighter):

– Shower gel (Palmolive) and shampoo (Garnier or similar), enough for 4 days’ use for 4 guests;
– Bath towel, hand towel, face cloth and beach towels for each guest;
– Make-up face cloths and black pillow cases to prevent colouring of hair stains white pillow cases;
– Coffee, tea, milk and sugar to make sure even a group of four will not have to get up first morning wondering where to get their morning caffeine fix (I know how that feels)

Please take note of the following: 

• The apartment is located on the second floor, without an elevator.
• The apartment is located in a building where all the neighbours are local Portuguese that are working.
• By AirBnB guidance, the apartment is not suitable to children under the age of 8.
• You can not use your booking to apply for residence in Portugal
  
  Also on offer is lots of advice on how to get your holiday started without waisting time looking for al the cool spots. We only advice on what we have done ourselves.

This apartment complies with the Portuguese short-term rental laws. Registration number 78870/AL

5. House Rules

BE MINDFUL

You don´t need to use your hands to appreciate the decoration! Each piece of art is unique and has its own sentimental value to the owner.

Please don´t slam the doors.

When transporting your luggage through the house please be careful with the walls and doors.

Always lock the front door when leaving the apartment. Leaving a key in the door on the inside, prevents the door to be unlocked by the second key (if your party arrives home at different times.)

Do not leave the heater or the air condition running if you are not in the apartment.

This apartment forms part of a condominium, and so our guests must respect the rules of the condominium as well as the rules of this house. 

• It is expressly forbidden to make extremely loud noises or have parties, listen to loud music in the apartment, as well as in the communal areas (access stairs and hallways). Breaking this rule is considered motive to be asked to leave the apartment immediately without any kind of reimbursement or restitution. 
• Smoking is NOT allowed inside the apartment NOR in the hallways, access stairs or on the balconies.  Thank you for respecting this house and condominium rule. 
• No pets are allowed. 
• We ask that you use the appliances and lights in a responsible manner. Please turn off all electric devices when you leave the apartment, especially the air-conditioners.
• Please ensure the gas hob / stove is turned off before leaving the apartment.
• It is a felony to tamper with Smoke Detectors.
• We ask that you respect the property and its contents. In case of any damage or malfunction due to irresponsible use, the cost of the repairs will be debited from your security deposit. 
• Do not let children unattended near windows, balcony, oven or cooking hob. We are not held responsible for any accident that may occur inside the apartment. 
• Please deposit the garbage in the garbage bins, located in the street to your left as you leave the building (as explained above). 
• Please close and lock all windows of the house before you leave, and lock the front door. Any robbery or theft from the apartment during your stay will be your responsibility. 
• It is strictly forbidden to use sunscreen product branded “P20” or any kind of sunscreen advertised as one application only. These types of products stain towels and sheets and cannot be removed. Towels and sheets stained with this type of product are rendered useless and the cost to replace such stained linen or towels shall be debited from your security deposit.
• Dark blue face cloths are provided for the express use of removing make-up. Towels and sheets stained with this type of product are rendered useless and the cost to replace such stained linen or towels shall be debited from your security deposit.
• You can use the fridge to store your own food. The refrigerator is set for 4ºC and the freezer is set for -18ºC
• Hair dryer is located the cabinet in the bathroom.
• The water heater is located in the kitchen above the washing machine. It´s always on and adjusted to 70ºC. The apartment is not equipped with a dishwasher, so please try to wash your dishes. Thank you!
• The water pressure is limited. In order to have the best shower experience refrain from using any other tap in the apartment and check that the washing machine is not working.

The internet service is provided for your enjoyment. We advise a responsible, safe and appropriate use, compliant with all laws in place. Using peer to peer sites (p2p) is forbidden according to the Portuguese law.
