2. The property

It is a 2 bedroom (1 with double, 1 with single bed) apartment that has everything you need to have a comfortable stay during your visit in Lagos.

Enjoy the entire apartment! And if it’s available, claim the top-floor balcony with stunning views – all yours to soak up! 🌟

We love staying there, and are sure you will also.

Note: it is located on the first floor and there is no elevator.

There is free street parking available in front of and around the apartment building.

Please remember that you’re staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP.

3. Other things to note

Amenities provided free of charge to make your stay more comfortable (and to ensure your travel luggage is lighter):

– Shower gel (Palmolive) and shampoo (Garnier or similar), enough for 4 days’ use for 4 guests;
– Bath towel, hand towel, face cloth and beach towels for each guest;
– Make-up face cloths and black pillow cases to prevent colouring of hair stains white pillow cases;
– Coffee, tea, milk and sugar to make sure even a group of four will not have to get up first morning wondering where to get their morning caffeine fix (I know how that feels)

Please take note of the following: 

• The apartment is located on the second floor, without an elevator.
• The apartment is located in a building where all the neighbours are local Portuguese that are working.
• By AirBnB guidance, the apartment is not suitable to children under the age of 8.
• You can not use your booking to apply for residence in Portugal

5. House Rules

BE MINDFUL

You don´t need to use your hands to appreciate the decoration! Each piece of art is unique and has its own sentimental value to the owner.

Please don´t slam the doors.

When transporting your luggage through the house please be careful with the walls and doors.

Always lock the front door when leaving the apartment. Leaving a key in the door on the inside, prevents the door to be unlocked by the second key (if your party arrives home at different times.)

Do not leave the heater or the air condition running if you are not in the apartment.

This apartment forms part of a condominium, and so our guests must respect the rules of the condominium as well as the rules of this house. 

• It is expressly forbidden to make extremely loud noises or have parties, listen to loud music in the apartment, as well as in the communal areas (access stairs and hallways). Breaking this rule is considered motive to be asked to leave the apartment immediately without any kind of reimbursement or restitution. 
• Smoking is NOT allowed inside the apartment NOR in the hallways, access stairs or on the balconies.  Thank you for respecting this house and condominium rule. 
• No pets are allowed. 
• We ask that you use the appliances and lights in a responsible manner. Please turn off all electric devices when you leave the apartment, especially the air-conditioners.
• Please ensure the gas hob / stove is turned off before leaving the apartment.
• It is a felony to tamper with Smoke Detectors.
• We ask that you respect the property and its contents. In case of any damage or malfunction due to irresponsible use, the cost of the repairs will be debited from your security deposit. 
• Do not let children unattended near windows, balcony, oven or cooking hob. We are not held responsible for any accident that may occur inside the apartment. 
• Please deposit the garbage in the garbage bins, located in the street to your left as you leave the building (as explained above). 
• Please close and lock all windows of the house before you leave, and lock the front door. Any robbery or theft from the apartment during your stay will be your responsibility. 
• It is strictly forbidden to use sunscreen product branded “P20” or any kind of sunscreen advertised as one application only. These types of products stain towels and sheets and cannot be removed. Towels and sheets stained with this type of product are rendered useless and the cost to replace such stained linen or towels shall be debited from your security deposit.
• Dark blue face cloths are provided for the express use of removing make-up. Towels and sheets stained with this type of product are rendered useless and the cost to replace such stained linen or towels shall be debited from your security deposit.
• You can use the fridge to store your own food. The refrigerator is set for 4ºC and the freezer is set for -18ºC
• Hair dryer is located the cabinet in the bathroom.
• The water heater is located in the kitchen above the washing machine. It´s always on and adjusted to 70ºC. The apartment is not equipped with a dishwasher, so please try to wash your dishes. Thank you!
• The water pressure is limited. In order to have the best shower experience refrain from using any other tap in the apartment and check that the washing machine is not working.
