“No Pets Allowed” Policy

1. General Policy
To maintain a clean, allergen-free, and tranquil environment for all guests, AlgarvianSun strictly prohibits pets of any kind on the apartments premises, including in guest rooms, lobbies, and outdoor areas.

2. Service Animals Exception
In accordance with applicable laws, properly trained service animals performing specific tasks for guests with disabilities are warmly welcomed.

• Definition: Pets that provide emotional support, therapy, or companionship do not qualify as service animals under Portuguese Decree-Law 74/2007 and Law 8/2017. They provide comfort through their presence but lack official training
• Requirements: Service animals must remain under the direct control of their handler at all times and cannot be left unattended in guest rooms.

3. Violations and Fees
Any guest found bringing a non-service animal onto the property will be subject to the following:

• Cleaning Fee: A mandatory deep-cleaning fee of 490 euros will be charged to the guest’s folio to cover the cost of sanitizing carpets, upholstery, and air filters.
• Immediate Removal: Algarvian Sun reserves the right to request that the pet be removed from the premises immediately.
• Eviction: Continued violation of this policy will result in the immediate cancellation of the reservation without a refund, and the guest may be asked to vacate the apartments.

4. Damage Liability
Guests with service animals are fully responsible for any property damage, stains, or excessive noise caused by their animal. Any repair or remediation costs will be billed directly to the registered guest
